I am an approved sport commentator for the games of cricket, football and hockey in the regional language of Odia and I have been associated with many live coverage of almost all games including test matches, Odi and T-20 of cricket. I have also been a member of 3 National games at Imphal in 1990, Punjab in 2001 and Hyderabad in 2002 Afro Asian faces in 2005 at Hyderabad and above all Asian games at Doha (Qatar) in 2006. Started my AIR career in Ranchi in 1988 and after serving at different AIR stations of Odisha (AIR Cuttack, CBS AIR Cuttack, AIR Jeypore, AIR Keonjahar and retiring on 31st July 2019. I am also active member of Odisha Sport Journalists Association affiliated to Sports Journalists Federation of India.
Recently in 2018 I was awarded state level Bijupatnaik award for excellence in sports journalism.
