Here are excerpts from her retiring note ....
In my 36 years career with the Government of India, the COVID-19 period was one of the challenging one.
It was my good fortunate to have colleagues like you to support the organizations' efforts to ensure that the News Services Division broadcasts News and Current Affairs programmes without any breakdown and with quality and information people wanted to hear during this period. It was very satisfying to see the enthusiasm and creativity with much you and your team contributed to the prestige to All India Radio News. With your contribution in meeting the minor and major challenges that came during this period, the organization has come out as a forerunner in dissemination of information to general public all over the country.
As I superannuate on 31st July, 2020, I recall the efforts of people like you and who have proved to be great asset for the organisation. I place on record my sense of gratitude and appreciation for the dedication, sincerity and commitment and extra effort put in by you and your team.
Your leadership qualities and keenness to take up challenges will take you a long way, I am sure you will be an asset to whichever organisation you belong.
