The flexibility of Oral Storytelling extends to the teller. Each teller incorporates their own personality and may choose to add characters into the story. As a result, there will be numerous variations of a single story. Some forms of oral storytelling include folk tales, ballads, songs etc. All said & done-
It is said that "People who tell the stories rule the world". If the stories are told with ease and with a subtle twist in their tail, they tend to connect fast with the listener knitting a close personal bond. People love to hunt for great stories almost as much as their daily diet. In the words of Ira Glass "Great stories happen to those who can tell them"
After my superannuation I followed my heart as the PUBLIC SERVICE BROADCASTER and started a YouTube channel called Mukesh Sharma Kahaniyon Ka Anokha Andaaz. The channel is a small step in that direction.
