Mumbai: The grand and spectacular annual day celebration of Film Studios Setting & Allied Mazdoor Union will be held on the Republic Day, 26 January 2017 at Chitrakoot Grounds, Janki Centre, Behind Yash Raj Studios, Andheri – Link Road, Andheri (West), Mumbai-400 053. The day is celebrated as a unique extravagant festival day beginning from 4:00 p.m. in the evening.BJP MLA Ram Kadam is the Chairman of this Union and Gangeshwarlal Shrivastav a.k.a Sanju is its General Secretary. The Film Studios Setting & Allied Mazdoor Union has more than 43,000 members and probably the biggest labour union in Asia.
Under the agile leadership of MLA-Chairman Ram Kadam and General Secretary Gangeshwarlal Shrivastav, the union has considerably progressed rapidly. A plush new office has been inaugurated recently in Malad (East) providing every facility to its members. Today, all the members can avail the facility of ‘Daughter’s Marriage Fund’, ‘Medical Fund’, ‘Retirement Pension’, ‘Education Fund’, etc. The Union committee is looking forward to derive more avenues for members’ benefits.
