You are aware that Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas is organisingसक्षम (संरक्षण क्षमता महोत्सव)-2017 from 16th January 2017 to 15th February 2017, which is coordinated by Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA) with active involvement of the Oil & Gas PSUs i.e. IOC, BPC, HPC & GAIL. This event is being celebrated with a tagline ‘ईंधन संरक्षण की ज़िम्मेदारी,जन गण की भागीदारी’.
With the view to intensify efforts for making more and more people aware about the need, issues and solutions for conservation & effective utilisation of petroleum products through various people connect activities, SLC, Maharashtra with the support of BPCL,IOCL,HPCL,GAIL & PCRA is organising the “Fuel Efficient Driving Contest” for car owners in Mumbai on 28.01.2017 (Saturday).
The event will be flagged off at 08.30 AM from M/s. Daulat Automobiles, BPCL Petrol Pump at Ballard Estate and take the Free Expressway via P D’Mello Road to Shivaji Chowk, Chembur and back to the Daulat Automobiles covering distance of approximately 40 kms.
It was suggested by the Ministry to select “One Brand, One Model cars” for participation in the fuel efficient driving contest. Hence we have chosen Honda City Petrol as the vehicle for this event.
3 Winners will be selected on the basis of minimum fuel consumption in the contest.
T-shirts, caps would be distributed to all the participants with Saksham 2017 logo.
Consolation prizes have also be planned for all the participants.
