Kaabil has all the elements of a BLOCKBUSTER!

The D-Day for the release of one of the most awaited movies of 2017 is finally here. Rakesh Roshan’s Kaabil hits the screens on 25th Jan 2017. After a promotional drive that has taken the world by storm, it is surely difficult to state the highlights of Kaabil without mentioning that the movie has virtually every element that is needed for a commercial blockbuster. Kaabil is a perfect amalmagation of Drama, Action, Romance, Emotion, Suspense, all the factors that spell success at the Box Office.
The winning streak of Kaabil commences with its strong storyline backed by powerhouse performances, not only by the lead actors, Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam, both who play visually imapired people but also by the antagonists Rohit and Ronit Roy. It is also interesting to note that Kaabil is a combination of people who have distinctly unique working styles such as Director Sanjay Gupta who is known for his technicall sharp movies and Producer Rakesh Roshan who is famed for knowing the pulse of the audience like no one else, adding to this Kaabil gives you Hrithik Roshan in what the man loves best, a challenging role of a visually imapired man on a mission.
The Highlights that will pave the way to success for Kaabil are as follows:
1.     Story- Kaabil is a story of a visually imapired but normal man, he does not have any super powers, he does not flaunt any 6 pack abs, he is as ordinary as everyone else but he feels what most people do, the need for true love and companionship. When he finally finds it in someone who shares the same ‘flaw’ as him, a visually impaired beautful girl, their two negatives make for one positive and innocent love story. However, a turn of events and their world changes and the man sets out on a mission for revenge. Will he succeed is something that can be known post the release. However, the story is the backbone for every film and Kaabil is no different. Penning the scirpt of Kaabil took the makers nearly 8 months but once it was signed, it was followed to the T as that is the style of film making that Sanjay Gupta follows, always staying true to the script thereby bringing out the best in the story.
2.     Performances – While the trailer has already garnered rave reviews for the performances by Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam, media reports have even complimented their performance via a medium like the posters of Kaabil wherein its impossible to tell the actors have the gift of sight, because that is how realistically they have performed. From locking himself up for 4 days prior to the shoot of Kaabil to spending immense amount of time with visually impaired persons, Hrithik Roshan is one actor who excels in roles where he plays a differently abled character and the proof of this lies in the love he earned with Koi Mil Gaya and Guzaarish. Kaabil will surely add to the hatrick as the man has even gone and changed and modulated his vocal cords for a scene where he is shown imitating Mr. Amitabh Bachchan (Hrithik Plays a Voice Over Artist) to perfection. Yami is sure to be the “Surprise Package of Kaabil” says Director Sanjay Gupta who was amazed by the sheer honesty she brought to her character. The Roy Brothers have created a stir, not because this is the first time that they will be seen on screen but because they play reel life brothers and that too in a negative avatar. Incidently, Kaabil also marks the first time of Hrithik-Yami pairing on screen, something that the audiences have been waiting a while for!
3.     Action- The action sequences of Kaabil are something that took the crew months to prepare for. This is because there were some hard core action scenes but they needed to be conceptualised keeping a visually impaired character in mind. Action Director Shyam Kaushal was given the brief that the hero does not know martial arts, is visually impaired and is highly intelligent. Based on this brief, Shyam and Sanjay have put together nerve racking action, the making of the action video even went viral within minutes of being uploaded. The most unique part of the Action in Kaabil is that no rehersals were conducted as both Sanjay and Hrithik wanted the action to look as sponatenous as possible given that the lead had to effectively portray that he cannot see while in reality, he could. Therefore, while Bollywood movies pride themselves for their action scenes, the action in this one is heavily reliant on the intelligence of the protagonist making it an even more thrilling watch.
4.     Music- The songs from any Filmkraft Production creation are always the highlight of their movies. This can be attributed to the fact that music runs in the genes of the Roshan family since the last 60 years. What with Rakesh and Rajesh Roshan's father, Mr. Roshanlal Nagrath being an acclaimed music director followed by Rajesh Roshan and his musical genius that has dominated the industry for several years. The music album of Kaabil has generated rave reviews starting with the title track Kaabil Hoon becoming an instant hit followed by the energetic Haseeno Ka Deewana and the one that is still on people's mind and the dance number, Mon Amour. Adding to this illustrious group, came another soulful rendition of the 1975 (Julie) hit song, Kisi Se Pyar Ho Jaye. The magic of the melody is evident not only in the tunes but in the moving vocals rendered by Jubin Nautiyal and composed by the man who knows the pulse of the audience, Rajesh Roshan! Speaking on the wonderful rendition Kisi Se Pyar Ho Jaye, Rajesh Roshan said that, "I believe in creating music that retains the soul of the tune and I feel the album of Kaabil justifies the same. We have re created numbers like Haseeno Ka Deewana and Kisi Se Pyar Ho Jaye but we have ensured that the soul of the song remains unchanged. This has been possible due to many people, one of who is Jubin Nautiyal who gives his best to 80 percent of the Kaabil album.”
5.     Emotion- The ideal compliment to a film with a strong story line is intense emotions and that is what Kaabil has. The movie will make you cry, laugh, feel helpless, take you on the edge of your seat and even make you feel angry, all at one time. The emotional roller coaster ride is something that every viewer is sure to go through and the credit for the same goes to the Producer, industry veteran Rakesh Roshan who can predict what the audience needs even before they know it. The man who completes 50 years in Indian Cinema, is someone who people look upto for his astute sensibilities and for the emotion that all his productions bring.
