India's noted bilateral body for promoting art and culture amongst the two countries, Musician's Federation of India (MFI) inaugurated the most prestigious Chinese Buddhist Cultural Heritage Photo Exhibition in the presence of 42 Chinese Monks from China Buddhist Association along with Mr. Zheng Xiyuan, Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Mumbai. The event was also graced by Shri. Rajkumar Badole, Hon. Minister for Social Justice and Special Assistance in Maharashtra Government and Dr. Anandraj Ambedkar (Grandson of Dr. Ambedkar). The exhibition boasts of 70 most fascinating photos of Buddhist heritage in China, selected from almost 20,000 photos. This exhibition is co-hosted by People's Republic of China in Mumbai, China Federation of Literary and Art circles, the Buddhist Association of China and National Center for performing Arts in Mumbai. the show will be held from 17th to 20th March 2018 at Piranmal Art Gallery, NCPA, Mumbai. Also present at the event were, Mr. Miao Hong, Head of China Federation of Literary and Art Circles delegation and Shri Guangquan, Deputy Secretary General of Buddhist Association of China and Abbot of Hangzhou Lingyin Temple.
Mr. Zheng Xiyuan, Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Mumbai shares, "This cultural exchange program will help both the countries to bring their cultures to the world and find a mutual place to grow. this kind of projects are mutually beneficial for both the sides. we feel great to host such show in India, and hope we will get more such shows in near future."

"To enhance these Indo-China relations and improve cultural exchange, Musician's Federation of India (MFI) has brought the 'Chinese Buddhist Cultural Heritage Photo Exhibition' to India for the first time. It provides an overall perspective of monuments and art heritage of Buddhism from the earliest time and also takes the spectators on a visual pilgrimage.
