Almost every member of Akashvani Pune contributed to give a grand farewell on 01.03.2018 to 18 outgoing Security Guards of MESCO, who had been serving the installation for many years. Each one of them was honoured and presented a Shawl, Momento, Sriphal(Coconut) & Sweet Boxes.
The Supervisor of MESCO Guards, who was moved by this gesture of the staff said, they will never forget their days with Akashvani. It was not merely a duty at Gates, it was like living with a family, where no one irrespective of their post, position etc. is being treated equally - He said. As a token of gratitude towards their Akashvani brothers and sisters, The MESCO Guards also collectively presented a beautiful portrait of Maharaj Chatrapati Shivaji to Akashvani Pune.
The Function was coordinated by Dr. Sahebrao Sonwane, AD(OL) and Shri SK Kadam, LDC with active help from Ravindra Ranjekar, AE, Abudul Hebbalkar, EA, BN Pagare, SrAO, Dilip Palde, HC, Kailash Shinde Announcer, Dyaneswar Bagade, MTF and other friends from all disciplines.
