#HGStreet by Homegrown is a unique and definitive street culture and lifestyle festival celebration bringing together the best of local and international sneaker culture, hip-hop lifestyle, streetwear fashion, street art, skateboarding, music, food and straight up creativity and innovation. Celebrating sub-culture from across a diverse landscape, the first edition is pulling out all the stops with a massive multi-warehouse takeover in the heart of Delhi to create a gateway — for the world into the motherland; and the motherland into the world. 18thMarch 2018. #HGStreet creates a space for all people of all backgrounds who wear their hustle on their sleeves, to call home- an acknowledgement of the cultural rebellion of present times. A place where your authenticity and originality can stand up and be counted amongst the icons who represent this brave new world best. Think a no-holds barred display of sneaker culture; street cast ‘models’ for fashion shows in alleyways with home grown streetwear labels such as Nixon Bui, Vardi by Delhiwear, BOBO, Capsul, SVED, etc.; custom painted skate ramps; cutting-edge brand labs with showcases by all major shoe labels; live art and installations; rapper hunt contests; breakdance battles; the best musical talent (local and international); and exclusive after-parties. And we are only getting started!
With PUMA as a partner, witness a display of 500 vintage and limited edition sneakers by SNEAKER PIMPS, the world’s largest and oldest traveling sneaker exhibit. Reebok Classics will showcase the work of legendary photographer Jamil GS’s ‘American Royalty’ series. adidas originals will showcase the launch of their new shoe ‘Deerupt’ with an immersive audio-visual experience. Nike AirMax celebrates another year of the iconic AirMax with their latest drop – the AirMax 270. Absolut brings forth their urban jungle warehouse party, host to DJs- Zokhuma, FILM, Rafiki and more. Step into the immersive pop-up store of streetwear label BADFIT by Indian rap artist, BADSHAH. The Arena will see BMX and Skateboarding battles as well as rap cyphers and live graffiti. Booze away at the Beer Garden with the sounds of Dasta and other music collectives.  It’s a one-stop shop for sneakers and everything across its spectrum. Be in the midst of pioneers of underground culture like Futura- OG street & grafitti artist, illustrator and sculptor; Yassine Saidi, the man behind all of PUMA’s collaborations - Fenty PUMA by Rihanna and ‘Run The Streets’ by The Weeknd; and DJ Neil Armstrong, Jay Z’s tour DJ from 2008 to 2010. Watch riveting and provocative documentaries such as ‘Dharavi Hustle’ by Sachin Pillai bringing fresh perspectives to fashion, music, and alternative lifestyles. Learn more about the culture itself, with sneaker x street culture talks by and for the people who represent them best – hosted by pioneers such as Highsnobiety, hip-hop icon Badshah and founders of the largest street culture festival in the Middle-East, SoleDXB.
Wind down with four after-parties, five stages and global and homegrown artists like Divine, Prabhdeep, Rajakumari to headlining international DJ of Erykah Badu- Natasha Diggs and Preditah playing hip-hop, techno and everything in between. This is no accidental mecca of all things up-and-coming, local, and street. This is a full-blown celebration of every Indian sub-culture that’s dared to keep things fresh.

And the one thing that ties it all together is the love for sneakers, and how you feel in them, beyond just the hype.
