"Out of the total Indigo flights operating today, about 5% were cancelled on account of the safety directive issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). Delhi took the maximum hit, with over 50% of these cancellations taking place from the city. Go Air on the other hand saw about 8% cancellations with Chennai being the most affected airport. Apart from this, other airports that were impacted the most include: Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Bhubaneswar, Lucknow, Jaipur, Kochi, Amritsar and Pune. Though both airlines are taking measures to reduce the impact by trying to book passengers on alternative flights the entire episode has caused inconvenience to many travelers."
