ANIL DESAI, Programme Executive, of All India Radio Bellary passed away today at 3.00 am due to massive cardiac arrest at his residence. He was 57 years old. He was served in All India Radio Dharwad, Hospet, Bengaluru and Bellary. Desai was a "A" grade drama artist in All India Radio. He is Karnataka Sangeetha Nrithya academy member for the year 2017-20.
Desai won two time Akashvani State level Drama award first prize entitled 'Nishkriya Ghataki' and 'Rajana Langoti' . He was acted in humorous drama in Kannada.
He is survived by his wife and two sons.
