What: Whistling Woods International, Asia's premier film, communications and media arts Institute, will be hosting a ‘Screenwriting Workshop with Anjum Rajabali’ – an informative3-day event on the art of writing screenplays for Hindi films.
Scheduled for January 12-14, 2018, this open to all workshop is a platform to learn about all the basic principles of screenplay writing from the best of the screenplay writers of Bollywood such as Anjum Rajabali, Head of Screenwriting at WWI (Drohkaal, Ghulam, The Legend of Bhagat Singh, Raajneeti fame), Juhi Chaturvedi (of Piku fame), Jaideep Sahni(of Chak De India fame).
From mainstream commercial films to independent cinema, a good script is what all filmmakers are seeking today. Slowly and gradually scripts have started driving Hindi cinema. With the aid of new examples, references, and illustrations, this workshop will cover all the aspects of screenplay writing and will enable the attendees with the latest techniques of delivering a well-written screenplay.
This is a good opportunity for those students who are keen to pursue screenplay writing as a profession to gain more clarity on the subject matter as the workshop will cover all the basic principles of script writing.
