Akashvani Pune Parivar and Airport Authority hosted an impressive event inside Pune Airport on 15.08.2018. The event which had dances and songs on Patriotic themes enthralled the air travelers and the staff of different airlines and Pune Airport. Apart from performances by staff of all the disciplines and casual assignees of AIR Pune, Flute recital by Divyang retired Akashvani Pune artist, Shri Ramesh Gulani touched the heart of many. The programme also pulled the participation of Staff of various airlines, travelers and even airport security staff, who termed it as never before function.
A very emotional segment of the event was honouring Mothers and Wives of Martyr Soldiers, who have given their life for the Nation. While the mother of one soldier spoke with tears flowing on her cheaks,many in the audience also could not control their emotions. The mother said she has put her other son also in Indian Army and would like that the 3 year son of the martyr also jpins armed forces, when he grows up. She called upon the audience to send their children to armed forces to fight for the nation and give supreme sacrifice.
