Alexey Volin, the Russian Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media led the Russian Delegation. Alexey Volin talked about the immense popularity of Indian films in Russia and mentioned about a 24 hour channel dedicated solely to Indian films, currently operational in Russia.
Relations between India & Russia are already at the peak. Inititiative such as exchange of program on TV & radio and Dubbing both Indian and Russian Movies in local language will help people of both the countries to know each other's culture and give a major push to people to people contact.
