Shri Chandramani Samal, Floor Assistant of Doordarshan Kendra, Bhubaneswar had passed away on 28th April 2014, five years back. Born on 12.06.1960 at Julikipada village of Cuttack District, Shri Samal had joined Doordarshan Kendra, Bhubaneswar on 1st June 1994 as Floor Assistant. Shri Samal was a soft spoken, punctual and a dedicated employee of the organization. He was a friend of needs to his colleagues. He was 54 years old at the time of death and is survived by his wife and a son.
Prasar Bharati Parivar volunteer had talked to his wife Smt. Meenajana and conveyed our rememberance to the whole family. Our volunteer was not able to talk to her properly as she does not know to speak Hindi/English. Finally her brother Shri Niranjan Jana who came to visit her from Hyderabad helped us and gave us information. Shri Samal's only son Viplavkesari Samal completed his B.Tech in Civil and searching for a job. They are presently staying at Bhubaneshwar in their own house. Mrs. Samal is also leading a good life with little bit ailments.
