Shri Prakash Kumar Mohapatra, Deputy Director(E) , DDK, Bhubaneswar will retire from Government Service on superannuation w.e.f. 30.04.2019.



Shri Prakash Kumar Mohapatra, Deputy Director(Engg.) , DDK, Bhubaneswar will retire from Government Service on superannuation w.e.f. 30.04.2019.He Joined on 07.02.1985 at AIR, Jeypore, Shri P.K.Mohapatra has served many Doordarshan Establishments such as DDK, Cuttack, DDK, Bhubaneswar, DDK, Guwahati & DDK, Kohima, LPT, Puri & HPT, Cuttack in different capacity. During his service period of more than 34 years , Shri Mohapatra has participated in the coverage of a number of International & National events such as CHOGM Summit at Nigeria, Commonwealth Games at Melbourne (2006), Commonwealth Games at Delhi (2010), Commonwealth Youth Games & World Badminton Championship at Pune, AFRO-ASIAN Game & World Military Game at Hyderabad, World Volleyball Championship at VIshakhapatnam , Asia Cup Cricket at Cuttack, National Games at Imphal, Ranchi,Hyderabad, Thiruananthapuram and many more. He has got recognisation for planning and execution of National Games at Ranchi & Guwahati , Commonwealth Game at Delhi & 22nd Asian Athletic Championship & World Cup Hockey-2018 (Opening Ceremony) held at Bhubaneswar. He has successfully lead the OB Team in the coverage of World Famous Car Festival of Lord Jagannath year after year that has brought much appreciation and award to the Kendra. Further, he has also contributed a lot in the Digitalisation of Studios, Tapeless Transmission , insertion of low cost video server for smooth 24 hours x'mission and has coordinated all wings for enhancing the programme quality and also in the earning of Commercial Revenue at DDK, Bhubaneswar. He has much expertise in technical field and is quite knowledgeable, dedicated and leads the team from the front.
