Dolcy Wahlang, English Announcer no more. 11 years back on May 2009, she retired as one of the most Golden Voice of All India Radio Shillong as English Announcer.
She had been as News Reader too of the most popular North East News of All India Radio Shillong. Songs of Yesteryears was her most fabric presentation in Western Music. People will come to know her just by listening to her voice only even without seeing the face. Such a wonderful Voice. Missed her salient features as one of the most vibrant announcer of those days in All India Radio Shillong.
Today morning she passed away after a brief illness. May her soul rest in peace. She left behind her four children and six grandchildren. Leit Suk Kong Dolcy Wahlang.
