COLORS celebrates Republic Day with World Television Premiere of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil


Celebrating the sense of freedom in not only living life at one’s own terms, but being able to choose one’s own friends and loved ones, this Republic Day, COLORS will telecast the World Television Premiere of multiple award-winning film, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. A contemporary movie, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil presents a melodramatic take on the various human sentiments including unrequited love, heartwarming friendship, heartbreak and loss. Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in pivotal roles, the film has won the hearts of viewers across the world with its intense storyline and soulful music. The film’s World Television Premiere will air on Thursday, 26th January starting 12pm on COLORS. 
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil traces the life of Ayan Sanger (Ranbir Kapoor), a young man who lives his life in extremes – whenever he falls in love, he puts all of himself into it. At a party, he crosses paths with spunky and energetic Alizeh Khan (Anushka Sharma) who teaches Ayan to live every moment to the fullest. A modern day story which is set in London and moves to Vienna, focuses on Ayan’s fixation with Alizeh which leads to heartbreak and his encounter with an Urdu poetess and divorcee Saba (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan). Written and directed by Karan Johar, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has tasted tremendous commercial success at the box office and has already bagged 13 awards at various award functions including 6 awards at the Sansui COLORS Stardust Awards.
