Kaabil, the Hrithik Roshan - Yami Gautam starrer produced by Rakesh Roshan opened to 40% theatre share in multiplexes as well as a smaller share of the single screens on Day One that is Wednesday, 25th Jan. It collected 10.43 cr on Day One and the bonus is that it also garnered tremendous word of mouth.
Audiences have almost unanimously applauded and appreciated the thriller with its unusual take on the main protagonists and the film is already being talked about as one of Hrithik's career best performances. The Day two i:e Thursday 26th Jan collections of Kaabil saw a huge jump and are 18.67 Crores inspite of only getting 40 percent of the screens!
As a leading trade analyst put it, 'Content is king and Kaabil will hold its own purely on merit.'
