Two time Indian National Award winner - Shubhashish Bhutiani, writer and director of Hotel Salvation, will be part of eminent jury member for Film School Festival at Munich scheduled from 19-26th November 2017. The Jury is headed by Götz Otto, who is famous for his roles in known films like DOWNFALL, IRON SKY and JAMES BOND 007 - TOMORROW NEVER DIES.
At the 37TH FILMSCHOOLFEST MUNICH, film students from 17 countries will present their short films.This year’s festival motto is "Watch Me If You Can"– but in contrast to Spielberg's con man comedy, the plot is a simple one: Come to the cinema, watch a movie, discover a new world and have your eyes opened by one of our varied programs.
Speaking about it, Shubhashish says, "It was a big surprise to get the invitation to be part of this Jury with such eminent names, I feel honoured. I am looking forward to see a range of new films from young film makers from across the world in such a unique festival"
Shubhashish's Hotel Salvation won 15 international Awards including two National awards. His first directorial feature film, Mukti Bhawan-Hotel Salvation World Premiere was held at the prestigious Venice International Film Festival 2016. He was honored with the XXlIIrd PRIX "ENRICO FULCHIGNONI" Award and UNESCO Gandhi Medal 2016 for the film. His short film titled Kush went on to win over 25 International Awards including the Shortlist for an Oscar by the Academy in 2014.
