Have you ever wondered what can bring Mumbai – India’s most buzzing city to a stumbling stop? Addressing just that, Qayamat: City Under Threat unleashes the fury of deadly missiles and viruses, and a terrorist group taking over the city and threatening the lives of the innocent civilians. A gripping narrative brought alive through some top-notch acting and cinematography, Qayamat, directed by Harry Baweja, features gallant Ajay Devgn and Suniel Shetty in lead roles along with an ensemble cast comprising of Arbaaz Khan, Sanjay Kapoor, Isha Koppikar, Ashish Chowdhry, Chunky Pandey and Neha Dhupia. As a part of its proposition ‘Fight Ki Night’, Zee Action, India’s one-stop destination for action movies, will showcase this action caper, Qayamat: City Under Threat, on Sunday, 26th November at 8 PM. With a corrupt Pakistani general backing them, terrorist brothers – Ali and Abbas Ramani (Sanjay Kapoor and Arbaaz Khan) and their common lady love, Laila (Isha Koppikar), hatch a plan to extort money from the Indian Government. They capture 213 tourists as hostages and join forces with Gopal (Chunky Pandey), a vicious scientist. Together they unload three missiles with a deadly virus and threaten to launch it into Mumbai’s water system, bringing on a qayamat!
Officer Akram Sheikh (Suniel Shetty) is assigned to this case, and he comes up with a plan to save the day! The only problem? He must collaborate with the terrorists’ former associate Rachit (Ajay Devgn). Rachit has, though, gone silent after Ali and Abbas killed Sapna (Neha Dhupia), the love of his life on the night he was arrested. Together, Akram and Rachit, with the help of Rahul (Ashish Chowdhry), a scientist who knows how to disarm the missiles, embark on a mission to rescue the hostages and save the city.
