Bosch Power Tools launches it’s first-ever ‘Service on Wheels’ initiative in India

Hyderabad, 20th March 20, 2018: Bosch Power Tools India, one of the world’s leading manufacturer of power tools for construction, woodworking and metalworking industry, has launched its ‘Service on Wheels’ – a first-of-its-kind service initiative in India in association with its partners to visit users. The Bosch ‘Service on Wheels’ has been conceptualized to demonstrate the uncompromised and unparalleled Best-in-Class service experience at our users’ doorstep coupled with a focus to reduce downtime. Two vans were unveiled at the event in Bangalore today by Henning von Boxberg, President of the Bosch Power Tools GmbH.
The services provided by the van include repair, training, routine maintenance, product demonstration, among others. Additional advantages of the ‘Service on Wheels’ are promotion of genuine Bosch parts and assured quality service by their skilled and trained technicians. Besides providing fast professional service to customers, these vans will help in enhancing productivity and improving brand visibility for Bosch Power Tools.
Currently, Bosch has over 450 authorised service centres in the country and plans to expand more service centres in the upcountry markets. Besides availability and affordability, service is one of the fundamental factors identified for success, and is deeply committed to create service as a key differentiator. Bosch has a large and stable service network, supported by strong processes, and manpower skilled by trained professionals in the country. This year, Bosch has taken a number of initiatives to bring in a new level of professionalism, setting new benchmarks in the industry.
