Mrs. India West- Empress of West India a Diva pageant was organised by Karl Mascarenhas and Anjana Mascrenhas recently at Hotel Hyatt, Pune. City's Consultant Neuropathologist and Quality Manager of Neuron Hospital, Dr Vartika Patil was crowned as Mrs. India West- Empress of West India. She was also won the subtitle of Mrs Style Icon in the contest. Renowned artist namely Singer, Shibani Kashyap, Actress, Mahek Chahel and eminent writer, Director, Raj Kaushal were the judges of the pageant.
She was preparing for the pageant since the last five months taking care of her fitness and diet while juggling between work and family She believes that if one wants to pursue something deeply and passionately then everything falls into place where there is will there is way ! The pageant organisers gave her an excellent grooming sessions which transformed her and helped her gain more personal enhancement. Her finale question was about women empowerment where she answered that an empowered woman is a professional as well as a homemaker and above all she is a free woman who takes her own decisions and makes her own choices. This won the hearts of the judges and she won the crown
Dr. Patil will be representing India for Mrs. universe 2019 in December this year. With this win She would like to take Nagpur to a global platform and contribute towards female empowerment. She thanked her parents Narendra and Vandana Parihar for their faith in her abilities her In laws Dr Aruna and Dr Prakash Patil for the support, her husband Dr Himanshu Patil and daughter Myra for their constant support and encouragement during her journey.
