Zee TV brings back its galaxy of most iconic stars to celebrate its 25 year journey at the Zee Rishtey Awards 2017!
Over the past 25 years, Zee TV has been instrumental in creating many stories and strong characters that have resonated with the sensibilities of the Indian middle class, mirroring their hopes and aspirations. Year after year, Zee TV has carried on its legacy of acknowledging the contributions of actors, directors, producers, creative teams, technicians and celebrating the special relationship the channel has built with its viewers through its annual property - 'Zee Rishtey Awards'. At this year’s edition of the awards show when the channel reaches an important milestone of 25 years, Zee TV wished its audiences Rishta Mubarak by bringing back its galaxy of stars who have been a part of this epic journey and honouring them with special awards. In fact, viewers are in for a treat as the stars shared some interesting nuggets by way of anecdotes and memories from the golden era of Indian television.
Segment hosts Dheeraj Dhoopar and Shraddha Arya from Kundali Bhagya welcomed the cast of cult Zee TV shows like Hum Paanch, Amanat, Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo, Pavitra Rishta and even the hosts of AntakshariPallavi Joshi and Durga Jasraj. Whilst on-stage, these widely celebrated actors shared some light hearted moments with the hosts and spoke about their experiences. Mesmerised by actor Ankita Lokhande’s beauty, Dheeraj Dhoopar who plays Karan in Kundali Bhagya complimented her on her good looks, while Shraddha Arya who is currently seen as Preeta in the same show requested actor Sudesh Berry to give the audience a glimpse of his character Loha Singh’s infamous laughter from Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo. The actor sportingly obliged, immediately transporting the audience to the good old days.
