To help these children cope with their long and difficult journey, we regularly organize programs for children during occasions like Diwali, Christmas, Children’s Day, etc. One such National event that is most celebrated every year is “HOPE”. “Hope”, as the word signifies, is a strong and positive belief of victory over cancer. It is a celebration to spread the message in the society and country, that “Childhood Cancer is Curable”. Our efforts in form of “HOPE” started in 2008 and it is now the biggest annual event for pediatric cancer patients in Tata Memorial Hospital and India. It’s two months different workshops Where not only children (patients) take part but their parents , Doctors, stafff, nurses everyone take part in Art and craft workshops,Dance , drama and Music , and we showcase this on day of Hope . This year we are celebrating Hope on Sunday, the 24th of December and the theme is “Laughter & Joy”.It would be great if you can cover this program and make people realise how entertainment works together with medicine to come out from the disease like cancer.
