Students from 83 schools participated at K P West Ward Science Exhibition

Mumbai: St. Joseph High School successfully concluded a science exhibition in Juhu (Mumbai) recently at the aegis of Education Inspectors West Zone and others stalwarts. 83 schools participated in this exhibition. The main agenda of this science exhibition was innovative venture for sustainable development. In this exhibition one-night school also participated. Apart from various schools, honorable guests from different walks of the society enjoyed this exhibition. The exhibition was inaugurated by the famous nuclear scholar Dr. A.P. Jayaran. MLA Amit Satam was the chief guest with other dignitaries also being present. Both the respectable guests visited each and every stall and inquired about their displays.
                                       The students with the support from their respective teachers contributed various models in terms with the later generation. Looking at the students’ enthusiasm and their works, they are surely the future generation of scientist who would contribute their myth towards science and technology. The winners were honoured on the second day of the exhibition.
                   The exhibition was also attended by luminaries like actors Ranjit and AftabShivdasani, child actor Ayushree Sangle, Convener and Presenter of science exhibition Dr. Suresh Nair and many others. Dr. J. J Rawal, former director of the Nehru Planetarium, Mumbai and the president of The Indian Planetary Society and Sunil Ganacharya, BEST committee member also made their presence felt.
                  Children’s Welfare Centre High School won the first prize in this science exhibition. Bhawans A. H. Wadia’s school bagged the second prize while HansrajMorarji Public School got the third prize. Dr. Suresh Nair thanked all those students who participated and the guests who made the event a memorable affair.
