WRD Special : Listening to the radio is a favorite pass time of many blind or visually impaired people



Y .Venkata Reddy, Lakkavaram (village) Nalgonda (district), Telangana telling that he is blind and not having any education.He is listening radio from childhood,from the age of 5 and he describes the radio as his guru & God,why because by listening radio he learned so much for his life , because of radio he is in a position to translate things from English/hindi to Telugu to others.His life is moulded through radio listening in all respects.As per his statement TV,Social media & other platforms of media will not change radio part in the hearts of a common man.And also he is requesting to increase number of channels in future.
