Shri. Om Prakash Chaurasia, Engineering Assistant, Doordarshan Kendra, Paudi, Uttarakhand added one more chapter of social work. In the memory of Late wife Smt. Renuka Chaurasia Shri. Om Prakash established social organisation named Renukapushpa Sewa Samiti. Shri. Chaurasia regularly contribute to this Samiti and from this money the Samiti helps the poor students. On 29.08.2020, Renukapushpa Sewa Samiti, Lucknow provided School Bags,Uniforms, Shoes, Books/copies, Tie etc.of Rs.24610/- to the poor talented students of Government Inter College, Pauri Garhwal (Uttarakhand) as usual as done since last 03 years. In first week of August this year the Samiti choose 11 promising students and paid their school/college fees.
Samiti extended gratitude to Sri Bimal Chandra Bahuguna (Principal) Sir,all Teachers and all Guardians of the Students who gave opportunity to serve them.
PB Parivar appreciates the noble work carried out by Shri. Om Prakashji and wish the Samiti will flourish and carry more social work in the years to come.
Many of us occasionally or routinely perform such activities like - Taking the kids of the colony to picnic, Donating something to needy, Sharing quality time at orpahanage/old age homes, Writing a Book, Teaching the poor children, following your passion etc which gives us contentment. Through this blog series – "Zara Hat Ke", we wish to share such activities which can inspire our other Prasar Bharati Parivar members and help them derive the pleasure by undertaking some of such activities.
