The DDG (E) All India Radio Kargil PK Thakur, hoisted the National Flag at All India Radio Kargil Headquarters at Baroo. On this occasion interacting with the employees and paying ribute to those who sacrificed to gain Independence to the Nation, PK Thakur said that ndependence is what we are enjoying in the form of development whether it be infrastructure,educational or technological and we all should strive hard to accomplish the real meaning of Independence.
He urged upon the Employees to contribute in the development of the country in the real sense and help in spreading the message of peace and harmony defeating the agents of violence within the society.
All India Radio is the Public Service Broadcaster and all the section of All India Radio Kargil should work hard to provide the best service whether it be Programme Production, News, or quality of the service he added saying that we were successful in playing our role during these days of Lockdown and Covid 19 Situation by helping the Administration to aware the people about the Diseases, SOPs etc which has helped in the Containment of the Spread of the Covid 19 pandemic in Kargil district.
National Flag was also hoisted at HPT Kurbathang, AIR Drass, Tai Suru and Padum and the employees celebrated 73rd Independence Day.
