DaasDev's melodious track 'Azaad Kar' released

Director Sudhir Mishra has a record of collaborating with lyricist Swanand Kirkire on all his projects. The latter made his debut with Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi and been on Sudhir Mishra’s much talked about films like – Chameli, Yeh Saali Zindagi, Inkaar and the latest being Daas Dev.  In Daas Dev Swanand brings forth yet another of his versatile talent by singing a melodious song – Azaad Kar, composed by Anupama Raag and lyricist Gaurav Solanki.
The versatile talent that Kirkire is, he has collaborated with Mishra in various capacities, sometimes just by assisting him while on other times creating music and participating in the screenplay. This is the first time ever that a Sudhir Mishra film will have 7 songs in total composed by five Music Directors. Speaking on his association with Swanand , Sudhir Mishra says, "For DaasDev, he is the voice behind Azaad Kar which is one of my favourtie songs from the film, Swanand is a part of my film making process and you always fall back on your core team, he is an extremely talented individual and I’m glad to have him on board as always."
Talking about the partnership Swanand stated, “Working with Sudhir ji is not like working on any other project. I would like to believe that he looks at me as his sounding board and I’m happy to occupy that space. Some of what we have produced on screen as a team has been the outcome of an intense conversation of chai one fine day, it is not like a structured method of working, our process of ideation is an ongoing machinery”.
Daas Dev stars Rahul Bhat, Richa Chadha and Aditi Rao Hydari in the lead and features power packed performers like, Saurabh Shukla, Vineet Singh and Vipin Sharma.
The movie is directed by Sudhir Mishra, presented by Storm Pictures and produced by Saptarishi Cinevision Production.
