Mumbai, April 09, 2018: The BBC Good Food magazine was successfully launched by the legendary Chef Sanjeev Kapoor at a glamours evening that concluded with an amazing food spread at the Renaissance Mumbai, Powai. The event was co-hosted by Mr Shafquat Ali, CEO & Editor-in-Chief, Nicholas Dumbell, General Manager, Renaissance Mumbai and Lakeside Chalet – Mumbai, Marriott Executive Apartments.
The starry night saw a reunion of chefs in the industry. It also witnessed cameo performances by various guests including Mr. Sudhanshu Pandey, Ms Anaida and even Sanjeev Kapoor was also amongst the artists playing the drums! Everyone paid a tribute to their favorite legends by singing different songs from the yesteryear. The food was well appreciated as chefs of the hotel had put up a concept of culinary trends of India right from age old Nonna’s Italian cuisine to an open air BBQ and Asian Bowl food.
What was also exciting was an entire counter dedicated to organic fresh vegetables and healthy super grain. Towards the end of their meal was sumptuous dessert library, which had slabs of different variety of chocolates that would be broken down by hammer.
Guest list included Chef Amrita Raichand, legendary singer Mr. Hariharan, Rashmi Uday Singh, Rajev Paul & wife Anjali Raina, and many more.
