Mumbai, March 30, 2018: &TV’s unique dance reality show High Fever… Dance Ka Naya Tevar has reached its first milestone – The Grand Premiere, introducing to the world its Top 11 dancing jodi’s, who will be seen fighting for the coveted trophy. The show is being talked about not only for its superlative dancing but also for being the first-of-its-kind ‘jodi- maker’. The esteemed panel on the show are not only delivering as judges but are also nurturing the talent to present the nation a jodi which will inspire many. Lara Dutta being a fine actor herself, has a keen eye for the chemistry and the bond between the jodis. No slipup is missed by the experienced lens of Ahmed Khan, any imperfection in technique and form is caught by him. While Dana Alexa makes sure that every performance is of international scale. Assessing the talent and strengths of each contestant, together they guide them on how to put their best foot forward. High Fever has introduced some unique jodi’s on television, here’s a look at the amazing Top 11:
The Jeth – Bahu (Saurabh and Vibhuti) Jodi from Faridabad, is breaking stereotypes with their never seen before pairing. A relationship which is always seen with narrow eyes is of a ‘Nanad and Bhabhi’ but breaching the age-old conceptions this jodi (Neha and Kantika) from Lucknow’s well known Kathak gharana, has a beautiful bond. Trained Latin dancers jodi of Amit and Sakshi from Goa are winning hearts with unexpected and unseen innovations in their regular styles. Ashish and Rutuja are a true example of a guru-shishya jodi; Ashish has taken up on himself, to show the nation how good his student is at her art, and it is for this noble reason that he is in the competition. Brewing dance with romance, this jodi of Tara and Nisha are known for their breathtaking contemporary performances. The two best friends - Aishwarya and Chaitra’s street waacking dance has impressed judge Dana Alexa and are known for their physical strength and clean performances. Faizan and Likhit is another guru- shishya jodi of the show, where Likhit is popularly known as ‘chhota Ahmed’ for his uncanny resemblance to judge Ahmed Khan. Following their dreams, Akash and Suraj, the identical twins from a small basti in Pune, have struggled a lot to reach the grand stage of High Fever. The Tron brothers from Dehradun – Chander and Manoj, are pros at popping and animation and their strength is their bond and love for each other. The bizarre duo of Tejas and Anshul can be identified from a mile away, because of their crazy hairdo’s and amazingly high energy levels. From Kanpur’s public parks to High Fever rehearsal halls, Rishab and Sumit, have sacrificed a lot, coming from humble backgrounds this guru-shishya jodi has loads to offer and a great deal of respect to earn, for themselves and their families.
Bollywood stars - Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani who kickstarted the Grand Premiere were visibly impressed, by the performances. When asked about the talent on the show Tiger Shroff said- “The talent is fantastic, the unique thing or should I say the x- factor is the pairing and the combination of relationships, it’s really inspiring.”. On the other hand, Disha Patani’s attention was grabbed by something else, she says- “It’s amazing to see so many talented people under the same roof. Every performer has their own style and personality and it is so tough to replicate someone else’s choreography and style, yet these contestants are doing it so well, hats off to them. The contestants are so young and still they are just killing it.”
