Mumbai March' 18: Jhelum, a multi-designer store-in-store concept brings together its Annual Fashion Spring | Summer Fundraiser with Evelyn Sharma's 'Seams for Dreams' Foundation in Mumbai on 4th April 2018 from 12 noon to 7:00 p.m at Jhelum store. The Fundraiser organized by Jhelum Gopal Dalvi, and Evelyn Sharma's Foundation will be showcasing its exclusive S|S collection crafted by many leading designers.
The Spring Summer collection is an amalgamation of modern classics, floral, festive and pastel. It offers specially curated summer wedding, celebration and resort wear garments, and accessories by some of the leading fashion designers.Apart from fashion, the fundraiser will also introduce CONFLUENCE by Crystals from Swarovski, an eclectic jewellery line which is unique, magically glamorous, and proudly Indian. It is designed by 11 Indian fashion luminaries of the country.
The price range of the fundraiser will start from Rs. 7000, having a lot of variety within the range of Rs. 25000. A part of the total fund raised through the Annual S|S Fundraiser will be given to the Seams for Dreams Foundation.
Along with Seams For Dreams, the noble cause will also be supported by Rotary Club of Mumbai Divas which is the very first All Women's Rotary Club in the world. President, Tehmina Khandwala has associated the Diva's with its member, Jhelum Dalvi for the fashion fund raiser. The Diva members will generously donate clothes at the Jhelum store, as it is the drop- off centres for re-usable clothes that will be donated to Seams For Dreams
Fashion Entrepreneur Jhelum Gopal Dalvi expresses, "I am extremely excited for the Annual Fashion Fundraiser. We have been doing these causes for a long time and it's always a delight to raise funds for good deeds through fashion. Such events help in getting funds which are used for underprivileged people. I hope it will turn out to be a great success like always".
In April 2017, Jhelum Gopal Dalvi,Director Advisory board of SFD became a part of the Foundation. Over the past years, Jhelum Gopal Dalvi has been involved in various social causes that have impacted many lives. She is also one of the Directors of the Advisory Board for a Childhood Cancer Care Centre. Jhelum Gopal Dalvi works closely with Seams For Dreams on a weekly basis to help in their development.
