World Autism Awareness Day (WAAD) aims to put a spotlight on the hurdles that people with autism – and others living with autism – face every day. What’s more, World Autism Awareness Day goes one step further to celebrate the unique talents of those with autism, while putting a huge focus on the warm embrace and welcome that these skills deserve through community events around the globe.
Around the world, thousands of iconic landmarks and buildings join hundreds of thousands of homes and communities to "light up blue" in support of people living with autism, as part of the "Light It Up Blue" campaign.
To help reach out to more and more people, Select CITYWALK proudly announces their support by lighting up the entire shopping centre in Blue till April 2nd, 2018.
The shopping centre has been supporting the cause since the year 2014 and is amongst the first shopping centres who started with the same.
This World Autism Awareness Day, let us all support and spread awareness.
