Clandestine station, Eye Radio resumes on shortwave

Clandestine - Eye Radio

Short wave broadcasting for South Sudan was restarted for the first time in eight months from August 1 as reported. This station had previously broadcast on shortwave, as Sudan Radio Service.

Eye Radio is continuing to broadcast under the support of the USAID International Development Agency USAID as a project of the Educational Development Center (EDC) which is a US-based NGO.

The South Sudanese government continues to block mobile phones and WiFi specific sites, and there are places that FM can not cover, and it seems that he has resumed short-wave broadcasting.

Starting around 15 minutes about 25 minutes English news etc. are out. There are many local languages other than Arabic.
