Sri. M.J. Shivawamy was born on 04.07.1958 at Magadi village of Chikamagaluru district - Karnaaka. He has acquired his Master's Degree in Sociology from Mysuru University. Initially he got appointment as Assistant Station Master in Railways at Miraj on 16.06.1984. He worked as LIC Development Officer on 04.05.1987. He also joined as First Division Assistant through KPSC on 02.04.1989 in the department of Police.
Later, he joined All India Radio, Hassan on 13.01.1992 as Transmission Executive. He got promoted to the Post of Programme Executive on 24.10.2013. In All India Radio, he has served at Hassan and Mysuru both capacities of TREX and PEX at AIR, Bengaluru as PEX. He got good admiration from the higher authorities for his excellent work throughout his career and consequent on attainment of superannuation, he retired from service on 31.07.2018 from AIR, Mysuru.
Akashvani Recreation Club & AIR, Mysuru organized a Farewell party for Sri.M.J.Shivaswamy, PEX in the conference hall of AIR, Mysuru on 31.07.2018. All the staff praised him for his wonderful contribution and humbleness.
The Staff of All India Radio, Mysuru wishes him "A VERY HAPPY RETIRED LIFE"
