Sri Rajendra Prasad Former Dy. Director General (Program) passed away at 11.00 am on 26-06-2020 at Kanpur. He had served as a very successful Program officer at Guwahati, Cuttuck, Ratnagiri, Chattarpur etc. and is remembered with exceptionally great respect by his colleagues .
Sri Rajendra Prasad hailed from Jaunpur in UP. A scholar and an outstanding broadcaster. Remebering him Shri Thiruvengadam writes " His 'Fauji Bhaiyon' program broadcast live from AIR Guwahati in the years 70-72, was a great hit with our armed forces. It peaked during the 1971 war. Letters would flood the station. We both were PEXs in the station. I have lost a great friend. "
Rajeev Kumar Shukla writes 1980 के दशक के पूर्वार्द्ध में श्रद्धेय राजेन्द्र प्रसाद जी आकाशवाणी, छतरपुर के केन्द्र निदेशक थे और हम तत्कालीन मध्य प्रदेश के अन्य केन्द्रों पर पदस्थ लोगों को भी कार्यक्रम समन्वय बैठकों तथा अन्य समागमों में उनके सरल हृदय और ज्ञान-गम्भीर व्यक्तित्व को देखने, जानने और उनसे सीखने का भी सुयोग नियमित प्राप्त होता रहता था। उनकी पुण्य स्मृति को सादर नमन और विनीत श्रद्धांजलि।
