Shri. Om Prakash Chaurasia working as Engineering Assistant at DDK, LPT, Pauri, Uttarakhand has started NGO [Renukapushpa Sewa Samiti ( रेनुकापुष्प सेवा समिति )]. This NGO is dedicated to his wife late Smt. Renuka Chaurasia. On the auspicious occasion i.e. birthday of late Smt. Renuka Chaurasia on 12th Sept. , in the year 2017 this NGO was started in the fond of her memory. Shri. Chaurasia spends Rs. 3,00,000/- per year for this noble work from his salary and GPF account. This NGO supports poor talented students as follows -
Scheme-
Samiti will pay Tuition Fee, Books/Copies, Uniform expenses to concerned School /College / Institution of selected students for a year (session) subject to maximum Rs 5,000/ per month ( Rs 60,000 annually) or actual which ever is less.
Eligibility-
1- Students who are talented in his study and their Parents/Guardian are Poor.
2- Students whose Parents/Guardian are not relatives of members of Samiti Selection Committee and Coordinator.
How to apply-
Students or their Parents/Guardians can approach to Samiti for Application format on free of cost.
Decision-
Selection Committee members will scrutinize all applications and 5 best students will be selected after cross examination of information provided by Applicants.
Last date-
Last date was 30th June but in keeping view of lockdown, date has extended up to 31st July.

The life of any individual has many dimensions, however many people in middle age, particularly the government servants tend to develop monotony in their lives. During such occasions the other dimensions of our life, other than the routine office work brings in a breeze of freshness and happiness. This makes the individual recharged and increase his/her efficiency even in their office work.
Many of us occasionally or routinely perform such activities like - Taking the kids of the colony to picnic, Donating something to needy, Sharing quality time at orpahanage/old age homes, Writing a Book, Teaching the poor children, following your passion etc which gives us contentment. Through this blog series – "Zara Hat Ke", we wish to share such activities which can inspire our other Prasar Bharati Parivar members and help them derive the pleasure by undertaking some of such activities.
