Chimp&z Inc. light up social media by re-creating the story of Diwali
Diwali; the festival of lights and celebrations, the festival that celebrates the return of the Pandavas after 12 years of Vanvas and of course, to celebrate the victory of light over darkness. On this very night, the country is so well lit up that one can literally see it the from outer-space. While most of us prepare for this grand festival by decorating and lighting up our houses, many brands, agencies and individuals involve themselves in creating the same by using social media as a platform to highlight the festival of Diwali.
This is where we talk about what Chimp&z Inc. along with its production house, Griffin pictures did to celebrate the festival of lights in its own unique fashion. Introducing, Ramyana- An epic tale. An animated film that revolves around the journey of Lord Rama, his wife Sita, brother Lakshman, Lord Hanuman and how they triumphed over evil by defeating Ravana.
The film was so intricately designed and conceptualised that it not only captured eye balls from across all social platforms, it reminded us of the beautiful story of why Diwali is celebrated while managing to share happiness & smiles on this auspicious occasion.
The quality of the art, story, animation and script created and showcased in the short film gave us a glimpse of the talent that lies in the house of the Chimp&z Inc. All the elements in the film were so well stitched together that it had us glued to ours screens from the story beginning with the Svayamvara of Lord Rama and Sita to the GharWapsi.
Getting a better insight on the film, we reached out to Mr. Angad Manchanda and Mr. Lavin Rajpal, founders of Chimp&z Inc. and they said, “The idea behind Ramayana-An epic tale was to take everyone back to the reason why we celebrate Diwali as a festival, to give back to this grand festival as well creating a film that could be enjoyed by audiences spanning across all age groups. It was our little way of celebrating this beautiful occasion, our little way of decorating our social media page and of course lighting up social media. Each and every member of our team wanted to do something on India’s legacy after Game of Agencies and had the same level of enthusiasm all the way from the drawing board right down to the final execution and we couldn’t be proud of the outcome. It has indeed been an epic journey for all of us as well.”
As mentioned earlier, Ramayana- An epic tale was an absolute treat to eyes which also managed to show the level of talent that exists in this country.
