Shri Kamlakar Ranjekar, father of Shri Ravindra Ranjekar left for his heavenly abode yesterday, i.e. 31-10-2017 at 11.34 pm. Funeral will take place at Vaikunth, Pune at around 11.45 hrs, today, i.e. 01.11.2017. Shri Kamlakar Ranjekar was born to a noble family of practicing doctor in 1930 but had to face severe hardships when he lost his father while he was about 10 years old. With meager financial resources and help from good people, he completed his studies successfully. He served mostly in Marathwada region of Maharashtra and as an Agricultural Extension Officer travelled deep into villages. He was regarded as their own by thousands of village farmers and also tried to pay back by supporting the education of hundreds of poor children.
