Shri Khadri S. Achudan Former Director News of Doordarshan Kendra, Bangalore expired on 29th October 2017 at Bangalore. He was admitted to a hospital for chest disease for past two weeks. Born on 18.01.945 at Mallukote, Mandiya District, Karnataka, Shri Achudan had his education at Mysore and started his career as a sub editor with Kannada Daily "Sanyukta Karnataka".
Shri Achutan was a highly respected journalist and was awarded by the State Govt., Rajyot Sava Award for excellence in journalism. Shri Achutan is survived by his wife and two children.
