· Govt. is coming up with "Affordable Housing Project", "Bharat Mala Project" and with implies on large infrastructure and Rail Project, the Cement Demand is going to rise in the next couple of years. We expect the budget to include policies so that there is equitable distribution of work for all cement players and at the same time big and small players throughout industry are able to compete and participate in it.
· Cement Prices are currently at low or at moderate level and with the introduction of mines auctioning in place with increase in fuel prices , the cost of production has taken a rise. In such scenario the profitability has taken a hit and emerging players have a difficulty in sustainace. Recently few reputed players in cement has faced liquidation. Govt should provide some sops for new entrance in Cement Sector besides capital subsidy to encourage the investment in this sector.
· Cement Prices impact every section of the society and the burden of prices is borne ultimately by the common man. The GST rate is high since the implementation of GST. We expect the Govt. to consider it and bring the GST to the lower slab
