A light music concert ' SUGAM SANGEET SANDHYA' was organized at AIR, Jeypore, Odisha on 27th March 2018. Eminent singers of Odisha performed live on stage. Shri Asis Kumar De, DDG(E) welcomed the guests. In his speech he spoke about the importance of All India Radio in nation building as a public broadcaster and role played by AIR, Jeypore in Southern Odisha region. Shri Jugal Kishore Panda, PEX, Head of Program spoke about the program SUGAM SANGEET SANDHYA. He also narrated the various innovative programs broadcast by AIR, Jeypore. Shri Jagadish Adhikari, PEX proposed vote of thanks.It was a packed audience. Lively performance by the Artists enthralled the audience. It was a pure entertainment for three hours. People in this region have not experienced such program in many years. They requested AIR authorities to hold such program every year. Adjoining road outside the campus was overcrowded.
