All India Radio, Mysuru, hosted the workshop on “Measurement in Radio Broadcasting Course”





All India Radio, Mysuru, hosted the workshop on "Measurement in Radio Broadcasting Course" for AE/SEA/EAs, participating from 23 different station of All India Radio from various parts of the country. The Workshop is being conducted by the National Academy of Broadcasting and Multimedia, Delhi from 03.06.2019 to 07.06.2019. Sri. Kashmir Singh, Dy. Director (Engineering) is the course coordinator. The Inaugural session started with a Invocation song by Smt. M. Shakunthala, Transmission Executive.

Sri. Ravi. S. Honnalli, AE, welcomed the course coordinator as well as the other participants.The workshop was inaugurated after the registration of the participants at 10 AM by Sri. Sunil Bhatia, Director EngineeringSri. Sunil Bhatia, Director Engineering gave a brief note on Akashvani Mysuru – being the first AIR, Station started by Dr. M.V. Goapalaswamy before taken over by the government and the name of Akashvani, suggested during the period of Dr.M.V.Gopalaswamy.

Sri. Kashmir Singh, Dy. Director (Engineering) NABM, Delhi give a brief note on the Measurement course in Radio Broadcasting, its importance, different equipments being used and also the latest technology being adopted by AIR, subject of which will be included during the workshop.
