On 28th April, 2017 at 12:00 hrs. an event was organised in AIR Pune in its auditorium to felicitate three employees namely Shri. Sunil Gangapure (Sr.EA), Shri. Gaurav Shimpi (TREX) and Shri. Vinod Adhav (LDC).
Shri. Gangapure received Memento from Shri. Ravindra Khasnis (Asst. Director and Head of Programme). Shri. Hemant Paradkar (A.E.) announced his name and appreciated his dedication towards work. A small part of Pune district was receiving poor reception of Pune 'A' primary channel. Hence radiation pattern was required to slightly change. It was achieved by tuning main mast and reflected mast. Shri. Gangapure was one of the members of this team. He also supervised repairing of package type A.C. plants.
Shri. Pingle (PEX) announced Shri. Shimpi as best employee of the month. Shri. Shimpi is newly recruited TREX and working in Commercial section of Primary Channel (Pune 'A'). He is also looking after English Language section. He was appreciated for his humbleness and keen to take new challenges. He has produced and sent English feature documentary for Akashvani Annual Award 2016. Shri. Khasnis presented Memento to Shri. Shimpi.
Shri. Pagare (Sr. A.O.) declared Shri. Vinod Adhav as best employee of the month. Shri. Adhav earlier worked in accounts section as well as rendered service as cashier. Now he is working in commercial section. This year AIR Pune generated Rs.6.5 crore as revenue. Shri. Adhav is one of the members of the team who is working as commercial section. Shri. Ashish Bhatnagar presented Memento to Shri. Adhav. Shri. Sahebrao Sonavane ( Asst. Director, Official language section) was also present on stage. Shri. Pravin Kulkarni (TREX.) hosted the function. In the same function Shri. Babasaheb Kharade (PEX) was given farewell. He is transferred to AIR Ahmednagar and was relieved on 28th April.
