29 April 2017: Action from Hockey India’s 7th National Championships 2017 across different divisions, continued today.
In Rohtak, the first semifinal of Hockey India 7th Senior National Championship (Women) ‘B’ division saw Railway Sports Promotion Board beat Hockey Madhya Pradesh 2-0. Neha’s 19th minute goal supplemented by another strike from PC by Poonam Barla in the 29th minute saw the game tilt in the favour of Anuradha Devi Thokchom-led team. In the third quarter, the Railway Sports Promotion Board were content playing deep in their half and defending the two goal lead, eventually helping them to qualify for the final.
In Bhopal, Hockey India 7th Junior National Hockey Championship 2017 (Women) ‘B’ Division continued into its third day.
In Pool A, Kerala Hockey beat Bengal Hockey Association 6-4, in what was the most exciting game of the day. KM Ariya scored a hat trick (3', 62', 68') and KV Aiswariya got a brace (52', 58') in the victory. Supriya Bahadur got a brace (22', 29') for Bengal Hockey Association in the loss.
In Pool B, Manipur Hockey trounced Hockey Gujarat 23-0. Anamika Devi was the star of the match, scoring ten goals (2', 5', 10', 10', 15', 19', 21', 56', 59', 64') in a comfortable victory.  
In Pool C, Hockey Bihar beat Hockey Madhya Pradesh 2-0. Goals for Hockey Bihar were scored late in the game, by, Sarita Kumari (64') and Ritu Singh (70'). 
In Bengaluru, at the Hockey India 7th Sub Junior National Hockey Championship 2017 (Men) ‘B’ Division Hockey Him beat Hockey Jammu & Kashmir 4-0 in Pool D. A hat trick by Vishal Kumar (31', 39', 70') gave them the victory.
Hockey Uttarakhand prevailed over Assam Hockey after trailing down by 0-1 at halftime. Brace by Boby Singh Dhami (48’, 55') in the second half saw Hockey Uttarakhand take home three points in the match. 
Hockey Rajasthan secured a commanding 5-1 win over Hockey Madhya Bharat with a hattrick from Vijendra Singh Rathore (14’, 39’, 70’).
