१) नृत्याचे तू काही प्रशिक्षण घेतले आहेस का?

- दहावी झाल्यावर उन्हाळ्याच्या सुट्टीत काही तरी वेगळं करावं म्हणून मी पुण्यातच एक हिपहॉप डान्सचं वर्कशॉप घेतलं आणि त्याला 15-20 जणं आले होते. ह्या वर्कशॉपला शिक्षक असलेला मी, 15 वर्षांचा आणि माझे विद्यार्थी 22 ते 25 वर्षांचे असं काहीतरी मजेशीर चित्र पाहायला मिळालं होतं. तो वर्कशॉप एवढा चांगला झाला की, त्यात भाग घेतलेल्या लोकांनी मला पून्हा असे वर्कशॉप घेण्याचा आग्रह धरला. तू आम्हांला वर्षभर शिकवं, आम्ही येऊ असं त्यांनी सूचवलं आणि सहज टाइमपास म्हणून सुरू झालेले माझ्या वर्कशॉप्सनी हळूहळू प्रो
३) हॉलीवूड आणि बॉलीवूडमध्ये तुझा आवडता डान्सिंग स्टार कोण आहे?

4) स्वत: कोरीओग्राफर असल्यावर चित्रपटात जेव्हा तूला इतर कोरीओग्राफर त्यांच्या तालावर ठेका ठरायला लावतात तेव्हा तू कम्फर्टेबल असतोस का?
- अर्थातच. मला असं वाटतं एक दिग्दर्शक दुस-या दिग्दर्शकाला जास्त समजून घेऊ शकतो. तसेच एक कोरीओग्राफर दूस-या कोरीओग्राफर कडून जास्त चांगला परफॉर्मन्स करवून घेऊ शकतो. अनेक कोरीओग्राफरना तर मला चांगला डन्स येत असल्याने मला अवघड डान्स मुवज द्यायला आवडते. प्रत्येक कलाकाराला कायिक आणि आंगिक असा दोन त-हेचा अभिनय करावा लागतो. कायिक आणि वाचिक अभिनयात नटाला जर नृत्याचे अंग असेल तर त्याचा कायिक अभिनयही ग्रेसफुल होतो.
5) यासंदर्भातला एखाद्या चित्रपटातला काही अनुभव शेअर करशील का?
- मी कान्हा चित्रपटाचे शुटिंग करतानाच्या दहीहंडीच्या गाण्याची मला आठवण येतेय. सर्वसाधारणपणे गाण्याच्या चित्रीकरणासाठी तीन दिवस ठेवले जातात. पण काही तांत्रिक कारणास्तव ह्या गाण्यासाठी एकच दिवस ठेवण्यात आला होता. खरं तर 12 ताासांची शिफ्ट होती. पण जागेची कमी वेळासाठी परवानगी मिळाली असल्याने 12 तासांऐवजी फक्त सहा तासात गाणे शूट करायचे होते. त्यावेळी मी चांगला डान्सर असल्याचा फायदा नृत्यदिग्दर्शक आणि निर्मात्याला झाला. बीना रिटेक्स होता. फक्त सहा कट्समध्ये ते संपूर्ण गाणे आम्ही 12 ते 6 ह्या सहा तासांमध्ये चित्रीत केले.
