Mumbai: The Western India Football Association (WIFA) invites proposal for accreditation of ‘Football Development Centre’ from clubs, academies and training centres in Maharashtra.
This process introduced by WIFA along with Mumbai City FC is a step taken to strengthen and improve the grassroots & youth development system in the state of Maharashtra. Through the system, WIFA will access the proposals received and give accreditation accordingly.
The procedure for development centre accreditation, is to submit the application with a non-refundable annual fee of Rs. 15,000 per application to the Western India Football Association.
Subsequently, designated WIFA along with Mumbai City FC staff will review and assess the documents and conduct physical inspection of the development centre. All the centres that fulfil said criteria will be accredited as “Football Development Centre”.
