Music club of Kashmir organised it's 8th season on 15th and 16th November at Tagore Hall Srinagar with the collaboration of JKAACL & JK BANK.Today annual musical festival is a 8 year old brain-child of top most light music singer -composer Waheed jeelani.On the first many legends performed on the stage and second d day saw new voices mismirising jam packed Tagore Hall.Kid Shifa jilani sang famous sufi composition HAR MOKH BAR TAL .....in most professional way under the supervision of her father ,perhaps her 1st stage performance. Legend sufi singer Ustad Rashid Hafiz as ever gave stirlating performance. Shazia Bashir tandem Sahil too performed on the stage.
Second session saw the honors being done of 8th Annual Sheshrang Awards to Rehmatulla khan,Abdul Rashid shah,Abdul majid shah,Adil manzoor shah,Late Ghulam Nabi sheikh and Shazia Hamid.
Honors were done by legend kashmiri writer Prof.Naseer ShifaI and former ADG Doordarshan Dr.Rafeeq Masoodi, Shabir Mujahid former ddg dd,umar Imtiyaz film maker and chairman MUSIC CLUB MR.WAHEED JILANI and Muhammad Amin Bhat the household name in kashmir.
