On 29th November 2018, AIR Pune organised an event to facilitate the award winning employees. 'Best Employee of October' award were given to individuals from Programme, Engineering and Administrative section. The award ceremony was held at AIR Pune's auditorium. These awards were conferred on Smt. Gauri Lagoo (Announcer), Smt. Jyoti Kaulwar (Engg. Asst.) and Smt. Anita Jamdade (UDC).
First Shri. Ravindra Ranjekar (AE) announced Smt. Kaulwar's name for her major contribution during 10 kW R&S make FM Transmitter training conducted in AIR Pune. He praised her dedication and sincerity towards work. Then Shri. Pradeep Halasgikar (PEX) declared Smt. Lagoo as best employee from Programme section. Shri. Gopal Autee (Deputy Director, Prog.) was out of station but he recorded an audio clip to appreciate Smt. Lagoo. She is producing various Marathi programmes like 'Snehbandh', 'Parikrama' family serial 'Jagan Mast Majet' etc. Her devotion towards work was also got applaud. It was followed by Shri. Sahebrao Sonavane's address in which he choose Smt. Jamdade as best employee from Admin. section. She took extra ordinary efforts in up-keeping personal record files of AIR Pune's staff. She collected nomination forms for GPF, Gratuity and CGEGIS from every individuals to update the personal files. All award winners given thanks to Shri. Ashish Bhatnagar (DDG, Engg. & Head of Station) for his initiative to acknowledge the efforts taken by staff in office work. Shri. Bhatnagar and Shri. Halasgikar distributed Mementos to award winners. During speech Shri. Bhatnagar congratulated all award winners and acknowledged their contribution. Shri. Sunjay Bhujbal (Announcer) hosted the event.
